Micropigmentation, otherwise known as Semi-Permanent Make-Up or Cosmetic Tattooing is the art and process whereby hypo-allergic pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin using either a digital machine or manually with the microblading technique. These pigments, after a healing process, will stay in the skin, breaking down and fading with time. Semi-Permanent Make-Up creates beautifully applied make-up with 24/7 results. This means no more spending hours infront of the mirror applying your eyebrows, eyeliner or lipliner everyday.
It is a must-have for clients who want easy, 24 hour a day, beauty and confidence.

Advances in the industry now mean that Semi-Permanent Make-Up has choices as well as answers. From soft powdered effect eyebrows to single hair replication, luscious lips in an array of colours giving definition and balance, or eyeliner which is as fine or bold as you desire. At Oasa Rosa Aesthetics we are able to create individually tailored looks to achieve your perfect desired result.
Whether you have suffered from over-plucking, alopecia, uneven shape or are just fed up of drawing on your eyebrows every morning, Eyebrow Enhancment may be the perfect treatment for you!
The perfect brow can give an anti-aging effect, make your face more symmetrical and give you that boost of confidence that doesn't wash off at night. Whatever your needs we can create the perfect shape and brow, tailored to you.

At no point in the procedure does hair need to be removed, unless there is an area that would benefit from a slight plucking to achieve the desired look. The idea behind Eyebrow Enhancement is to create a natural looking eyebrow, re-defining your natural shape and then enhancing this. There are a few variations of brow style to choose from, these are:

A hair stroke brow will give a very natural and soft look; the brow is built up hair by hair. As brows will fade with time, to keep them looking at their best, yearly touch ups will bring the colour back up to their full potential. This can be created either with the digital machine or via the Microbladed method.

A powder/ombre brow is for the client that likes a strongly defined brow and is usually best for clients that already have hair and like the fuller look. Soft shading techniques are used to create a penciled in look.

A combination brow is using the two combined methods of shading and hair strokes to create a natural looking brow but with depth and fullness. This suits all clients whether you have sparse brows, no hair or an ample brow that lacks shape and definition.
Microblading is fast becoming the latest and most desirable cosmetic enhancement treatment around. In short the definition of Microblading is the manual insertion of ink. Using what is commonly referred to as a blade, but is in fact a line of very fine, tiny needles, ink is manually implanted into the skin. Tiny, hyper-realistic hair strands are created to mimic the natural flow and curvature of your eyebrows.

As a fully trained and qualified Phibrows Artist, we are different to standard normal "Microbladers". Phibrows is a worldwide academy specialising in a specific style and application of the pigment. I was personally trained by Branko Babic, the founder of Phibrows and so have learnt from the very best trainer in the world! Only artists trained with Phibrows earn themselves a logo which can help to distinguish our work.

Eye Liner Enhancement provides the ability to create a little or a lot more definition to the eyes through either a natural or more defined look.
There are two types of treatment we offer which are:

Eye Lash Enhancement involves the implantation of little dots of mineral pigment between the eyelashes creating a darker border which gives the effect of a thicker darker looking lash line. This treatment is perfect for anyone wanting to achieve longer thicker eyelashes whilst still looking completely natural. Lash enhancement really opens up the eye whilst still creating a soft, flawless look.

Eyeliner Enhancement can be as dramatic or discrete as you wish. This can be created in varying colours, thickness, shading and even two tone colours.  This treatment allows you to save valuable time applying eyeliner every morning, and eliminates the worry of smudging.
  • Eyelash tinting or eyelash perming treatments should be carried out no less than 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
  • Eyelash stimulating products should not be used for 4 weeks prior to your procedure.
  • Artificial lashes should be removed 1 week prior to your procedure and not reapplied for two weeks post procedure.
  • Do not wear contact lenses during or immediately following your procedure. Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume wearing your contact lenses 24 hours after the procedure.
  • You may have mild swelling after your enhancement procedure and as a safety precaution you may wish to have someone else drive you home.
If you have uneven areas of natural lip colouration due to cold sores or scarring, want to make your lips look a little fuller or just want to create a more proportional shaped mouth, then Lip Enhancement could be the treatment for you.

We offer three different types of Lip Enhancement such as:
Lip Liner, this procedure gives fullness to the lips and depending on the colour chosen, can look anything from very natural to very obvious.

Lip Liner with a Lip Blush, this is the most popular enhancement. It has all the benefits of the lip liner but it softens the look as the colour is taken into the lip itself. You also don’t have to worry that your lips are ‘naked’ after eating as you have permanent hint of colour through your lips. Pale lips that have lost their colour and lip line will now have a more youthful appearance.

Full Lip Colour, this treatment is perfect if you love wearing lipstick and want to save time applying it every day. Together we can choose the right blend of pigments, to create the permanent lipstick of your choice that doesn't rub off!
  • If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex) and are scheduling a lip enhancement we advise you to use anti herpes medication for example Zovirax cream which can be obtained from a chemist. Use the cream 1 week prior and 1 week after your enhancement, 5 times a day. This can help minimise an outbreak. Oral medication for cold sores prescribed by your GP to take several days before your scheduled appointment is a much more effective way of preventing an outbreak. Permanent cosmetic enhancements do not cause cold sores, however if you carry the virus, it lays dormant in the nervous system and can be irritated by the infusion process.
  • IPL laser hair removal around the mouth should be carried out no less than 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
  • Waxing and bleaching treatments should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
  • Electrolysis treatments should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
  • Dermal fillers in the lip should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
As a guideline, Micropigmentation lasts between 1-2 years before natural fading begins to occur, however this depends on every clients skin, age and lifestyle. Certain things such as too much sun exposure or sunbeds can cause a quicker fading process so it is recommended you put extra suncream/SPF protection on to avoid this.

It is recommended you have a top-up every 12-18 months to keep the shape and pigment looking fresh but we offer top-up prices from 6 months for people who want to keep on top of their colour and prevent any fading.

It is important to remember once you have had your first treatment that you may be surprised when you first look in the mirror. The colour intensity may appear darker and sharper immediately after the procedure but once healed, which normally takes up to 14 days, the initial colour can fade from between 30-70% and everything will soften.
Some clients prefer the softer result however this is why you have a Top-Up after 4-6 weeks. The Top-Up allows for any alterations in shape or colour to be made. You may also notice the surrounding treatment area may be red and slightly swollen. This is completely normal and as the area starts to heal and settle it normally subsides within 48 hours.
